more advanced materials with translucency and subsurface scattering, as
observed, for instance, on vegetation materials.\n\n1. Click a palm tree
prefab, and select its LOD0, for instance <b>Palm_2_LOD0.</b>\n\n2. In
the <i>Inspector,</i> expand the <b>PalmAtlas_MAT</b> Material.\n\n3. Uncheck
the <b>SSS Enabled</b> property. Notice how the light does not travel through
the leaves anymore. \n\n4. Undo your change.\n\n5. In the header of the
<b>PalmAtlas_MAT</b> material, click the <i>Edit</i> button to open the
corresponding <b>Shader Graph.</b>\n\n6. Study how this shader was built.\n\nFor
instance, the wind effect is created by animating the position of vertices
in the <b>Vertex</b> shader using a Gradient Noise.\n\nThe subsurface scattering,
on the other hand, relies on the <b>Emission</b> input in the <b>Fragment</b>
shader."
